The story so far...
Monday morning phone call from Jane at Muddy Stiletto (Warwickshire)...
"Hi Caron. Congratulations! Red Hat Yoga has made it to the final of 2018 Awards for the best Yoga Studio."
A big thank you to everyone who has voted for Red Hat Yoga and helped us make it to the top five! I'm bowled over by the number of people who have kindly pledged their support with a first round vote. Thank you, too, from the bottom of my heart for your beautiful and thoughtful compliments. It really means a lot to me.
Recognition through an Award really does help raise awareness of small lifestyle businesses. But for me, it's much more than that. This inspiring Award will raise awareness of Yoga in the local community. Jane told me that the Yoga/Pilates Award category has received more votes than any other category. And that's worth celebrating in its own right! Yoga has the power to change lives. It changed mine and I've seen it change the lives of people who come to classes, week in, week out - increased mobility, strength, confidence, self assurance, contentment, peacefulness... the list goes on. Yoga really does work on so many levels - physical, mental and emotional.
Teaching yoga and running my little business, Red Hat Yoga, is much more than a job or career. It's a vocation. And I know it's what I am truly meant to do: Helping change lives, one breath at a time.
