Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all group yoga classes in the community were suspended in mid-March. By the end of March, Red Hat Yoga launched as a virtual studio, using Zoom technology, to bring our yoga classes to your home. It’s been a revelation to discover how well yoga classes adapt to the on-line environment. Here’s some feedback for about the new way of joining me for yoga practice:
Your praise for live streamed classes
“I’ve loved the live streamed yoga classes. Thank you for organising them.”
“I was a little apprehensive of using Zoom, but it was a lot easier to set up than I thought. I appreciated all your help and support in making the transition. Thank you!”
“I was surprised how clear it was to see and hear you on my tablet. The pace of your teaching is perfect for live-streamed classes.”
“Live stream classes are as friendly and supportive as our normal classes.”
“I’ve loved practising in the comfort of my own home with no travelling! It saves me lots of time.”
“It’s been lovely to connect with my yoga friends at the group check-ins at the beginning and end of each class.”
“I prefer live-streamed classes now as I can focus on my own practice, listen to my body and breath, stop when I want to rest. You always tell us to go at our own pace, but now I can finally give myself permission.”
“I think this is the way forward for group yoga classes. I hate going out to classes at night in winter and with Zoom we won’t need to!”
Of course, virtual yoga classes might not be for everyone, but the feedback so far is overwhelmingly positive. If you’re curious to try a class, then you might like book into a class soon.
